When I first came to Calgary Core physio I was a broken down mess thanks to years of training with improper form and seeing other physios who gave Band-Aid solutions rather than true fixes. I could barely lift anything with my left arm as an. Ulnar nerve impingement caused shooting pains to go up my arm whenever I tried to lift so much as a sandwich. Brad Merkley used muscle activation technique ( the same used by Peyton Manning to recover from a broken neck and win a Superbowl look it up!) to fix my arm and then proceeded to unwind all the muscle/nerve issues that my body developed from years of bad training. We went from my arm to my shoulders to my trunk. Along the way he corrected issues with my core and legs... 6 months later I'm lifting like a college kid again and setting personal bests on the bench and squat. I've even managed to develop my core muscles to the point that I can do that hanging pike move you see the show offs at the crossfit gym do. Anyways, highly. Recommend you see Brad. He will give you a long term fix for your current issues which is more than I can say for alot of PT's out there. 10/10 would book again.

The staff are always very friendly and willing to help. No issues trying to reschedule appointments and Alex is great! Definitely the best physio place I have been to.

Good staff and reception. Physiotherapists all appear very competent and knowledgeable. Based on location and facilities it appears best suited for individuals recovering from sports injuries and the like - not trauma or debilitating injuries.

I recommend Brad Merkley’s M.A.T. sessions! He has helped me regain Muscle Activation all throughout my body. It’s improved the initial injury I came in for, and I enjoyed the results so much, I had the rest of my body treated too! Feeling so strong and integrated again. Absolutely essential modality treatment I will use from here on.

I highly recommend Ian Goodwin at Core Physio. I have had several injuries and imbalances that over the years have taken their toll. Ian was able to diagnose my issues and provide specific treatment in which after the first session I felt positive results. I have continued to see Ian on and off for three years now and he has kept me moving and improving my physical well being. He has effectivley helped me heal from accidental injuries and kept me running in good form for training for half marathons. He is very good at explaining things and I felt I have learned a lot about how my body moves and what I need to pay attention to so I can keep active. Ian and his staff are professional, personal and excellent.
