I first started physio with Ian at Calgary Core Physio about 3 years ago. I was struggling with pain and reduced mobility from an arthritic hip. I walked with a pronounced limp and was in a severe state of decline, awaiting surgery. Ian has done exceptional work with me, and really has been a major reason I've been able to regain my life. The care was essential for reducing my suffering and keeping me mobile while I awaited surgery. And after hip surgery the physio has been almost miraculous in speeding my recovery and bringing me back to an active, enjoyable life. You owe it to yourself to see what they can do. I decided to give Calgary Core Physiotherapy a try after reading some reviews and I’m so glad that I did. Tim is phenomenal. He is knowledgeable, caring and always listens to my concerns. My road to recovery will take some time but I am confident, with Tim’s help, that I will get there. The staff at the front are also incredibly friendly and helpful. You’re always greeted by friendly smiles when you walk in the front door.

I first visited Calgary Core Physio after a co-worker highly recommended the services of Brad Merkley. I had been dealing with a nagging shoulder injury for over 4 years. I had previously dealt with two other physiotherapists, but could not kick the injury (IMS needling, exercises, massage and electrotherapy). I knew it couldn't hurt to try someone new, so I went to see Brad. I am so happy I chose to do this. Brad had my injury feeling better within two visits and had me back to the gym working out my shoulder in a month and only four visits! He discovered that many of my shoulder muscles were not activating when needed and I was over compensating with my opposite shoulder which is what was causing the pain. Brad used muscle activation technique (MAT) to "fire up" the dormant muscles and thankfully they remained active afterwards. If you would like to get rid of pain or deal with lack of mobility from a nagging injury, go see Brad. I bet he can fix you up!

I have been seeing Dr. Tim Lee for two months for treatment of lower back and neck pain, having been referred to him by my family doctor. Tim has treated me with IMS and a very targeted exercise regime. The treatments have been quite effective. The clinic is very professional, with a welcoming and efficient front end staff, great facilities and appointments that always start on time.

Fantastic staff and service, very professional and punctual. Highly recommend Dr. Eric Lavoie for Prolotherapy treatment. His sense of humor is also a plus, especially when he's poking you with needles :)

My daughter started seeing Ian Goodwin when she was 12 years old due to a very serious knee injury, she is a soccer player. They said she would probably not play Tier 1 soccer again and Ian was absolutely instrumental in getting her back on the field, working with her during her 5 month recovery period. Today, I have now been working with Ian for the last couple of months having been suffering with debilitating headaches and issues with my neck that no amount of chiro or massage helped. Best decision I have made. Ian is so amazing - so knowledgeable and he really cares about his patients. Highly, highly recommended.

My physio is with Elliott and I know I am in good hands. I have a long road to be fully functioning but am confident we will get there with his genuine care and expertise. A big kudos to the ladies in the front office who take care of you, they might just be the best front house team you'll have the pleasure to meet !
