I cannot say enough about Ian at Calgary Core Physiotherapy. I started seeing him about 7 years ago at the recommendation of a friend, and have been coming back ever since (not for the same issues). I have multiple injuries from being a varsity wrestle and so far there hasn’t been one that Ian cannot help me with. But he goes beyond just helping you feel better he gets you to where you want to be, he helps you reach your goals. Ian was able to help me run a half marathon, has helped me compete in the crossfit open and helps me with chronic injuries. His bed side manner is amazing, friendly, humours and welcoming. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a physiotherapist, you won’t regret it and you will end up achieving your athletic and daily life goals.

I had a pinched nerve in my neck and it tightened all the muscles around it and the shoulder area. It was the most painful experience of my life. I couldn't even turn my head or sleep at night. I reached out to Calgary Core Physiotherapy and they were able to get me in right away. I saw Alex and he instantly identified what nerve was causing me grief and started loosening up the muscles around the pinched nerve. I felt improvement even after the first session. After 6 weeks of visiting with him and a combination of massaging the muscles, stretches and dry needling I'm nearly completly recovered. Front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. They send text messages the day before your appointments which is a great reminder when you are busy. 10/10 will definitely be going there again in the future for any other pains.

I have been a client of Elliott's at Calgary Core Physio for approximately 2 years now and I can not recommend him / the clinic enough. I had seen about 3 physiotherapists before Elliott, and I always found the same thing... They would treat multiple patients at once- either leaving me sitting with a heat / ice pack on my injury, or having me do exercises alone. This is not the case with Calgary Core Physio. First of all - the front desk employees are warm, welcoming and provide amazing customer service. But most importantly, my physiotherapist – Elliott, spends the FULL appointment treating me. He is extremely receptive to my concerns and issues and tailors his treatment to my exact needs. I first went to Elliott for help with chronic back pain and now I go to him monthly for preventative physio. I cant say enough good things about Elliott. He is kind, personable and knowledgable. I have sent everyone I know to him – my mom, brother, friends, coworkers and acquaintances!
